Wilma P. Lyon, 87, of Olathe, Kansas passed away at 12:50 A.M., Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at her home.Wilma Pearl Lyon was born March 8, 1929 in Fredonia, Kansas the daughter of Wilson Harvey Harman and Etta Myrl (Friend) Harman.On February 13, 1948 in"Selah, Washington she was united in marriage to Kenneth A. Lyon and he survives at the home.She was a homemaker and raised seven children.Survivors include husband Kenneth of the home, children, Elaine Barker of Aurora, Colorado, Douglas Lyon of Mitchell, South Dakota, Daphne Duffy of Overland Park, Kansas, Harvey Lyon of Tampa, Florida, Waunita Murray of Farmington, New Mexico, Jeff Lyon of Olathe, Kansas, William Lyon of Olathe, Kansas, 25 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.Celebration of Life Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Calvary Wesleyan Church, Fredonia, Kansas.The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until service time Tuesday at the church.Interment will immediately follow the services in Farmington Cemetery, north of Fredonia.
