Wilma Jean Mishler, 91, of Chanute, Kansas, passed away November 26, 2019, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute.
She was born September 2, 1928, to Richard Williams and Gladys Floyd Williams in Humboldt, Kansas.
She attended school in Humboldt, Kansas and enjoyed reading.
Wilma was united in marriage to James W. Mishler on February 12, 1946.
Wilma is survived by her children John (Marilyn) Mishler of Chanute, Kansas, and Joyce (Richard) Verdin of Petrolia, Kansas, sister Mary (Vester) Reed of Chanute, Kansas, grandchildren: Angie (Casey) Dye, Phillip (Stella Tasche) Verdin, Kris (Don) Hess, Kim (Paul) Bradford, Jim Mishler, John Mishler, Eldon (Thelma) Stilwill, Lizbeth (Virginia) Stillwill, great-grandchildren: Evan, Harper, & Warryn Dye, Jacan, Zayla and Brex Verdin, Kai & Addy Ruggles, Kaedy, Ethan and Mitch Hess, Connor and Karlyn Bradford, Keagan and Kelsie Mishler, TJ and Kyle Mishler, EJ Stilwill, Trenton Hurt, Brandon Foster, Erika McBride, and Micheal Voyles; great-great- grandchildren: Landon, Kayden, Josie, Lincoln, Even, and Kesley.
Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son James R. Mishler, and great-granddaughter Kelsey Bradford.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at Parkview Holiness Church in Chanute, Kansas.
Interment will be held at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute, Kansas.
Memorial remembrances can be made to ACARF of Iola, Kansas or to the Chanute Public Library and can be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
