Waunita Cox Eldridge

Waunita Cox Eldridge, 91, a longtime resident of El Cajon, California, formerly of Rose Hill, Peck and Wichita, Kansas, died February 15, 2010 in El Cajon. She was born July 22, 1918 in Peck, Kansas, the daughter of Theron and Stella Cox. She was a secretary to the dean of a college in California for many years. On June 24, 1939 in Peck, she married Don H. Eldridge. He preceded her in death July 8, 2000. Waunita was a graduate of Rose Hill High School. Her memberships included the El Cajon United Methodist Church. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the Rose Hill Friends Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Waunita"s name with the El Cajon United Methodist Church and may be sent to the funeral home.
