W. Gertrude Kee

Wilma Gertrude Kee, 77, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. She was born August 4, 1928 in Bald Knob, Arkansas, the daughter of Claude and Dorothy Pease. She was a licensed practical nurse in the area for many years. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Milo Ward in 1968; Gene McGinnis in 1991; and Tom Kee in 2003. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Fredonia, the Kansas Fiddlers, Pickers and Singers Association, and past president of the Republican Women"s Association. Her Survivors include: Two Sons, Michael Ward of Andover, KS; Jim Ward of Fredonia, KS; 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 1:00P.M. on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at the First Christian Church in Fredonia with Rev. Steve Brodbeck officiating. Private family inurnment will be held in the Fredonia City Cemetery. A memorial has been established in her name with the Fredonia Public Library and may be sent to the funeral home.
