Vondina "Bonnie" (Nelson) Morgan, 98, of Coyville, Kansas passed away December 14, 2008. Bonnie was born November 29, 1910 in the Morgan Valley area south of Coyville, Kansas to Esau and Ollie Bell (Fiscus) Nelson. Bonnie married R.C. "Bill" Morgan on April 3, 1933 in Yates Center, Kansas. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters (Ruth, Sally, Christine, Alice and Evelyn), her husband, Ralph "Bill" Cecil Morgan, her granddaughter, Vondena Marie Morgan, and her great grandson, Christopher Morgan. She is survived by her son, Wayne Morgan (Rama) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her daughter, Mary Spillman (Jim) of Wichita, Kansas; and her son Gary Morgan, (Garnell) of Parker, Colorado. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bonnie had a strong spirit, and a gentle nature. Her family meant everything to her and she blessed her family with love that knew no bounds. We are blessed by her 98 years with us. Everyone will always smile when we remember her delicious fried potatoes, homemade noodles and potato salad. Graveside services will be held at Farmington Cemetery, north of Fredonia, Kansas at 1:00 pm., Thursday, December 18, 2008. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Bonnie"s name to the Coyville Community Center c/o Timmons Funeral Home. Condolences for the family may be left on this website.
