Virginia L. Wheaton

Virginia Lucile Wheaton, born November 23rd, 1928, in Fredonia, KS, has gone home to be with the Lord June 18, 2024.

Virginia was preceded in death by parents Earl and Beulah (Lincoln) Riley. Her siblings Pat (Riley) Morris, Lloyd Riley, Conard (Bud) Riley and Richard Riley. A husband, Fred Wheaton and son Joseph Wheaton. 

Virginia had many talents and interests. She was artistic, a skilled cook and baker, seamstress, lover of antiques and collectibles, and lover of music and poetry. She was very proud of her genealogy and provided the family with much photographic and oral history. She was always a provider of many of our needs throughout our lives. 

Virginia’s surviving children, as follows, Rick Wheaton, Rhonda (Wheaton) Lawrence, Robert Wheaton, Debra Wheaton, Patti Wheaton, all the rest of the family and friends.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 24, 2024, at Fredonia City Cemetery, under the guidance of Wickham Family Funeral Home, 510 North 7th, Fredonia, Kansas 66736.
