Virginia Lee Petty

Virginia Lee Petty 83 passed away October 12, 2019 at Diversicare of Chanute.
She was born February 8, 1936, to Jack L. and Gladys (Livengood) George in Minden Mines, Missouri.
She was united in marriage to Darold Petty in Miami, OK.
Virginia is survived by: Children, Charlia Mitchner (Butch) of Chanute, KS, Charlie Smith (Ellen) of Loucust Grove, Virginia, Dennis Smith of Chanute, KS, and Leona McBride of Gunnison, Colorado,
Siblings: Linda Watson of Pittsburg, KS, Kathy Greenwood of Pittsburg, KS, Patty Swank of Pueblo, Colorado, and Donna LeCroy of Birmingham, Alabama. Eighteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great- grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, two sisters, and three children: Richard, Martha, and Paul.
Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 18, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the New Life United Brethren in Christ Church, 500 N. Forest, Chanute, KS.

Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Chanute, KS
