Victor "Vic" LeRoy Smith

Victor "Vic" LeRoy Smith, 62, of Delaware Oklahoma passed away at 7:21AM on February 21,2024. 

Vic Was Born to Charles and GeorgAnn Smith on November 08,1961 in Independence, Kansas. Vic grew up in Liberty and rural Sycamore Kansas. He attended school in Independence Kansas where he lived and worked in the area until recently moving to Delaware Oklahoma with his Girlfriend Denel Collins. Vic loved to fish (recently finding that he liked fishing from a kayak more than from a bank), hunting mushrooms, riding his motorcycle, and playing online video games (especially Fortnite) with family and friends. Vic loved to eat, especially with family at Holiday gatherings, at a good buffet, or at Liberty Community Church Soup Day. Vic was always willing to help and open his door to anyone in need. He had more extended “family” than you could count and was a Father figure to many. 

Vic was preceded in death by his Mother, GeorgAnn Smith, and many beloved Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents.

Vic is survived by his father, Charles; brother, Les and wife Holly; sister Matilda Wilson and husband Robert; son, Brandon; daughter, Lacey; and 4 grandchildren.   

Celebration of Life Services will be held 3:00 P.M., Saturday at Liberty Community Church, 4th and Main, Liberty, Kansas. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Ball Cemetery in Childers, Oklahoma.

"Soup Day" Memorial meal will be held following the service, and all are encouraged to stay and celebrate Vic.
