Velma Kathleen Beeson

Velma Kathleen Beeson, 91, a resident of Altoona, Kansas, formerly of Minneola, Kansas, died Sunday, April 22, 2007 at the Golden Living Center in Neodesha, Kansas. She was born June 21, 1915 in Minneola, Kansas, the daughter of Harry and Anna (Miller) Beebe. She was a graduate of Minneola High School and a homemaker. On May 24, 1940 in Hutchinson, Kansas, she married Warren Wilson Beeson. He preceded her in death April 29, 2004. She was member of the First United Methodist Church in Minneola. She had also served as a 4-H leader and enjoyed bowling. Her Survivors include: One Son: Wayne Beeson of Las Vegas, Nevada One Daughter: Wanda Mustain of Altoona, Kansas Two Brothers: Clair Beebe of Minneola, Kansas Dean Beebe of Minneola, Kansas Three Grandchildren Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Altoona Cemetery with Pastor Jim Raymond of the Verdigris Valley Christian Fellowship officiating. A memorial has been established in her name with the Altoona Public Library and may be sent to the funeral home.
