Tommy E. Ranes

Tommy E. Ranes, 73, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Labette Health in Parsons, Kansas.
Tommy Edward Ranes was born January 22, 1949, in Independence, Kansas the son of Lawrence and Adeline (Benning) Ranes. He graduated from Altamont High School in 1967. He served his country with the United States Army and was honorably discharged.
On July 1, 1972, in Cherryvale, Kansas he was united in marriage to Vicky L. Shepard, and she survives at the home.
Tommy worked as a leadman for NuWa Industries in Chanute, Kansas for many years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and 4020 John Deere Tractors.
Tommy was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Cherryvale and VFW in Independence.
Survivors include his wife, Vicky of the home, and sister, Linda Sage of Independence, Kansas.
Cremation has taken place with no services planned at this time.
