Timothy John VanLeeuwen, known to many as Tim, passed away unexpectedly in a car accident on May 23, 2024.
Tim was born on February 2, 1988, in Parsons, Kansas, to John and Linda (Wright) VanLeeuwen.
He graduated High School in St, Paul, KS, in the class of 2006.
He was a family man through and through—his wife Heather O'Daniel was not only his high school sweetheart but also the love of his life. Their marriage of nearly 18 wonderful years stood as a testament to their commitment and bond.
He was a devoted Aircraft Mechanic at Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita, Kansas, where he poured his passion and skills into the world of aviation.
Tim's journey was one of dedication and love for his family and his work. He had a deep connection to nature and a profound love for regenerative farming. He was a shining example of a man devoted to his roots and the land around him.
Jason and Noah were the lights of Tim's life; their presence brought him immense joy and purpose. As a father, he shared his passions with them, whether it was caring for cattle on the farm or indulging in the thrill of building and playing with his beloved mud truck.
In addition to his loving wife Heather, Tim is survived by his sons, Jason and Noah, and his parents, John and Linda VanLeeuwen of Walnut, KS. His memory will also live on through his siblings: Donny VanLeeuwen, Lori Kichler, Carol Grudowski, Andrea Rose, and Sherry White. Tim's influence will continue through numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
Tim is preceded in death by his grandparents Marion and Marcella Wright; and Pat and Maxine VanLeeuwen; however, he leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever be cherished by those who knew him best.
