Theda Mozell Allen

Theda Mozell Allen, 86, a resident of Salina, Kansas, formerly of Fredonia, Kansas, died Friday, January 23, 2015 at her home in Salina. She was born February 6, 1928 in Squires, Missouri, the daughter of Clarence and Rena (Hardcastle) Frye. Theda was a homemaker. She was united in marriage to Jimmie A. Allen, Jr. He preceded her in death June 16, 1997. Theda"s hobbies included bowling, golfing and she also enjoyed making quilts. Her survivors include: Grandchildren: Laurie Robertson of Salina, KS Brian Kelly of Salina, KS Sisters: Janice Cox of Osage City, KS Gearldene Matney of Fredonia, KS Brother: Richard Dane Frye of Eufaula, Alabama Three Great Grandchildren Her parents; daughter, Sharon Kelly; sister, Violet Adams; and brothers, Gale, Ward, Jack, Norman and Valdon Frye also preceded her in death. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Weakley Cemetery near New Albany with Rev. Gene Benefiel of the Buxton Christian Church officiating. A visitation has been scheduled prior to the graveside on Thursday morning, 9:00 A.M.-Noon at Timmons Funeral Home. Words of condolence may be left on this website.
