Sherrica "Rica" K. Medlock

Sherrica “Rica” K. Medlock, 56, of Independence, Kansas passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020 at her home.
Sherrica Kay Medlock was born June 7, 1963 in Jefferson City, Missouri the daughter of Larry Medlock and Phyllis (Smith) Medlock. She graduated from Independence High School in 1981.
She was united in marriage to Jeff Palmer in Independence, Kansas and he preceded her in death.
She was united in marriage to Tracy Estes and they later divorced.
Sherrica worked as a home care worker with Windsor Place Home Care. She also waited tables in her younger years.
She loved caring for people and her family. She also enjoyed being with her dogs and cats.
Survivors include her father, Larry Medlock of Cherryvale, Kansas, sons, Jeremy Palmer of Independence, Kansas, Katlyn Medlock of Lawrence, Kansas, siblings, Larry (Becky) Medlock of Cherryvale, Kansas, Curtis (John) Medlock of San Diego, California, Todd (Toni) Medlock of Cherryvale, Kansas, Taniena (Rodney) Whittley of Cherryvale, Kansas, Brad (Christi) Medlock of Independence, Kansas, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Celebration of Sherrica’s Life will be held 10:30 A.M., Friday March 6, 2020 at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas.
Memorial remembrances are suggested to Kindred Hospice and they may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
