Sharon Annette Edens

Sharon Annette Edens, 70, passed away, Monday, December 21, 2020 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. Sharon was born December 15, 1950 to Norman and Wynema (Sexton) Lee in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Sharon attended school in Muskogee, Oklahoma until the family moved to Kansas in 1967. She attended Fredonia High School, graduating in 1969.

On August 17, 1969, Sharon was united in marriage to Donald R. Edens in Fredonia, Kansas. He survives at the home.

She was a Day Care provider for over 30 years and also sold Mary Kay products for several years. Many children in Fredonia remember what a loving care giver Sharon was and will miss her deeply.

Sharon enjoyed gardening and raising flowers, much like the beautiful children she helped raise.

In addition to her husband, Donald, Sharon is survived by her children, Lance (DeeAnn) Edens, Fredonia, Kansas, Stacie Edens, Fredonia, Kansas; brother, Larry (Kristy) Lee, Wichita, Kansas; granddaughter, Faith (Tyler) Lawrence, Fredonia, Kansas; soon to be great-grandchild, Kolt and nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Scotty Lee.

Celebration of Life Services will be 11:00 am. Monday, December 28, 2020 at Cornerstone Christian Church, 1005 Golf Course Road, Fredonia, Kansas, with burial following at Coyville Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm, Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 510 North 7th, Fredonia, Kansas 66736.
