Rose E. Woldum

Rose E. Woldum, 92, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Prairie Mission Retirement Village in St. Paul, Kansas with family at her side.

Rose Ellen Woldum was born September 12, 1925 in Cherryvale the daughter of Earl James Dwyer and Ruth (Volk)) Dwyer. She grew up in Cherryvale and attended Cherryvale Schools.

On June 1, 1943 in Independence, Kansas she was united in marriage to Myron N. Woldum and he preceded her in death August 23, 2001.

Rose was employed at various places thought out her long life but was mostly a wife, mom and grandmother.

She enjoyed crocheting, music, puzzles, being around people and playing card tricks with everyone. She will be remembered as never knowing a stranger, having a huge heart and hospitality with everyone she met.

Rose attended the Cherryvale Nazarene Church when she was younger.

Survivors include her children, Morris Woldum and his wife Diana of Cherryvale, Jerry Woldum of Bellflower, California, Judy Quigley and her husband Richard of Cherryvale, Martin Woldum and his wife Phyllis of Parsons, Kansas, Ronald Woldum and his wife Lori of Neodesha, Kansas, Rose Ann Woldum and her husband Charlie of Las Vegas, Nevada, 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Friends and family may sign the register book from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Wickham Family Funeral Home of Cherryvale.

Graveside Services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, December 8, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale.
