Robert L. Rohr, Jr.

Robert L. Rohr Jr., 47, a resident Altoona, Kansas, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 28, 2010, at his residence in Altoona. He was born June 6, 1963 in Burbank California. Robert was a graduate of Neodesha High School and served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army for 21 years. Most recently he and his wife owned and operated The Prairie Nut Hut in Altoona, Kansas. On April 18, 2004, in Las Vegas Nevada, he married Rhonda Rogers. She survives at their home. Survivors, in addition to his wife, Rhonda, include: His mother & stepfather, Carol Ann Rohr-Miller and David Miller of Yon Calla, Oregon His brother & sister in law, Darrin & Margaret Rohr of Raleigh, North Carolina & their two sons, John & Mitchell His two nephews, Andrew and Michael, who belong to his brother Terry, who preceded him in death on February 10, 2010 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 2, 2010 at Timmons Funeral Home in Fredonia with Pastor Jim Raymond of the Verdigris Valley Christian Fellowship officiating. Visitation at Timmons Funeral Home will be Thursday, July 1, 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M., with the family receiving friends 6:00 P.M.- 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, a memorial account for Robert"s family has been established and contributions can be sent to the funeral home. Words of condolence for the family may be left on this website.
