Richard "Rick" L. Schultheiss

Richard L. “Rick” Schultheiss, 62, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Monday, November 26, 2018 at Independence Healthcare Center.
Richard L. Schultheiss was born March 26, 1956 in Topeka, Kansas the son of Virgil Schultheiss and Wanda (Evans) Schultheiss. He grew up in Cherryvale and graduated from Cherryvale High School in 1974.
He worked for Montgomery County, Vestal Refrigeration, Hackney and Simmons Cement Contracting.
Richard enjoyed playing the guitar and drawing. He will be remembered for his wit and willingness to help anyone.
He was baptized at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Cherryvale.
He is survived by two sons, Jerad Schultheiss and his wife Haili, Ryan Augustine and his wife Amanda all of Independence, Kansas, sister, Karen Schultheiss of Caney, Kansas, grandchildren, Addie, Makayla, Karsyn, Rayon, Kolby, Kamry, and Maisy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial visitation will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas.
