Peggy Lee Loessin

Peggy Lee Loessin, 70, of Independence, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019, at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
She was born on October 13, 1949, in Wichita, Kansas to parents Melvin Baker and Dorothy (Tice) Baker
Peggy was a fun-loving grandmother and mother. She liked to cook and was an all around good person who loved her family.
She attended Wichita High School. She then continued her education at Pittsburg State University to become a Registered Nurse. She retired form being a nurse and went to work as a over the road truck driver for many years.
Peggy is survived by children, Stephen Catlin and Nichole Garcia, siblings Kenny Baker, Jeannie Hooper, Becky Cavaness, and Sherry Daugherty, twelve grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place with services under the guidance of Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 east 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas 67335.
