Paula Marie Jones

Paula Marie Jones, a beloved resident of Titusville, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Born on October 23, 1971, in Chanute, Kansas.  Paula brought joy and warmth to all who knew her. In 2012, she made Titusville her home after relocating from Junction City, KS. Paula's vibrant spirit was evident in her love for the outdoors, where she cherished soaking in the sunshine and the tranquility of the beach. She had a passion for music and was always eager to explore new adventures, embodying a zest for life that inspired those around her. Her culinary skills were renowned, and her family adored her cooking, particularly her famous sesame wings, eggrolls, and perfectly prepared white rice. Paula was a dedicated food enthusiast, with a special fondness for fruits. Described by her family as having a heart of gold, Paula approached life with immense love and devotion. Her capacity to love deeply was evident in her relationships, especially with her long-term partner Rodney Rhodes, her children Chelsey De La Torre, Andreas De La Torre (Love Cagar), Shaniqua Hazelton (Canisha Goodseal), Tyrone Hazelton (Lorelei) and her cherished grandchildren Zayden Hamilton, Mi'Kaiel De La Torre, and Na'eem De La Torre. Paula was preceded in death by her mother Teresa De La Torre, her daughter Kiarra Hazelton, and her sister Lucinda Gutierrez. She is survived by her brother Joseph Gutierrez (Amanda) and numerous extended family members who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. at Wickham Family Funeral Home 500 North Forest Ave. Burial will follow at St., Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery.
