Grove, 56, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at his home.Paul Arthur Grove was born January 10, 1959 in Parsons, Kansas the son of Ralph Arthur Grove Jr. and Mary Louise (Strickland) Grove. He grew up in Cherryvale and graduated from Cherryvale High School in 1977. After high school he enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged.On March 16, 1985 in Cherryvale he was united in marriage to LeAnn Fought and they later divorced.Paul worked for Hackney in Independence doing maintenance and later worked as maintenance manager at Jensen International in Coffeyville before illness forced him to retire.Paul loved to fish for catfish at Wilson State Fishing Lake, his favorite spot to fish. He will be remembered for his humor and for being on the ornery side.He attended the Liberty Methodist Church when he was able.Survivors include, daughter, Megan Grove and her companion Jeremiah Overall of Cherryvale, son, Adam Grove of Cherryvale, mother, Mary Louise Grove of Cherryvale, sister, Gina Booe and husband Bill of Cherryvale, brother, Earl Grove and wife Anita of Coffeyville, KS, grandchildren, Landon Elliott and RyLee Elliot-Grove of Coffeyville, KS and numerous aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins.He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Arthur Grove Jr. in 2014.Celebration of Life Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 30, 2015 at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 east 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas. Friends may sign the register book Sunday from 12Noon until 5:00 P.M. with family receiving friends from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances are suggested to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and they may be left or mailed to the funeral home.In honor of Paul the family request you consider organ donation, it can save a life.
