Patrick Allen Mishler

Patrick Allen Mishler, 8 year old resident of Neodesha, Kansas, died Monday, May 7, 2007, at the Wilson County Hospital following a house fire. He was born March 6, 1999 in Independence, Kansas, the son of Brian and Melissa (Waggoner) Mishler. He was a second grade student at Heller Elementary School. Patrick was a member of the Church of Christ in Independence, where he was very active in Sunday School and other church activities. In school, he was a math tutor for fellow students. He enjoyed being with his friends, playing recreation soccer, skateboarding, playing video games and tinkering with cars. He was an avid NASCAR fan, always cheering for #24, Jeff Gordon. He is survived by: His father: Brian Mishler of Neodesha, KS His mother: Melissa Mishler of Wichita, KS Two sisters: Sierra and Ashlyn Mishler of Neodesha, KS Grandparents: Art and Janice Mishler of Neodesha, KS Brenda and Arthur Henderson of Independence, KS Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Thursday, May 10, 2007, at the Nazarene Church in Neodesha with Pastor Daniel Seay of the Independence Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in the Neodesha Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Timmons Funeral Home on Wednesday, 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. A memorial has been established in Patrick"s name with the Heller Elementary School and may be sent to the funeral home.
