NORMA LORAYNE MILLERNorma L. Miller, 85, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 at her home.Celebration of Life Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 22, 2013 at Wickham Family Funeral Home of Cherryvale with Tim Kolb, officiating.Friends may call or sign the register book from 12 Noon until 5:00 P.M. on Sunday with family receiving friends from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.Interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery, Cherryvale, KS.Norma Lorayne Miller was born November 11, 1927 in Cherryvale, Kansas the daughter of Ernest Kolb and Florence (Lyon) Kolb." She grew up in Cherryvale and attended Cherryvale schools.On February 15, 1947 in Cherryvale she was united in marriage to James (Jim) E. Miller and he survives at the home.Norma received her nurse training in Chanute and worked at the Iola Hospital in Iola, Kansas for many years before retiring and moving back to Cherryvale in 1984. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting and crafting as her favorite hobbies.Survivors include her husband Jim of the home, two brothers, Don Kolb of Independence, KS, Bill Kolb of Havana, KS, three sisters, Thelma Kesler of Cherryvale, KS, Sue Johnston of Cherryvale, KS, Treva Brown of Parsons, KS and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Perry Miller, two brothers, Earl and Walter Kolb and sister Maxine Kripps.
