Nancy Lee Myers

Nancy L. Myers, 57, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.

Nancy Lee Myers was born October 1, 1964, in Wichita, Kansas the daughter of David Lee Cook and Jewell Opal (Bays) Cook. She attended school in Cheney and Independence, Kansas.

She was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Eugene Myers Sr. in Independence, Kansas. They were together 38 years and married for 28 years.

Nancy was a homemaker and enjoyed being a grandmother.

She liked to cook, bake, ceramics, cruises and going to the beach. She adored her grandchildren and loved her family.

Nancy had attended the First Southern Baptist Church in Cherryvale and was a past member of the Cherryvale Eagles.

Survivors include her husband Bob of the home, mother, Jewell George of Cherryvale, Tina (Cody) Page of Cherryvale, Billy (Chelsea) Myers of Cherryvale, step children, Virginia Garcia, of Dodge City, Kansas, Tammy Velazquez of Hoxie, Kansas, Robert Eugene Myers Jr. of Hoxie, Kansas, Mary Myers of Dodge City, Kansas, Sophia Sanders of Great Bend, Kansas, siblings, Janice Hosier of Mound Valley, Kansas, Julie Hartley of Cherryvale, Scott Cook of Meade, Kansas, Angie Cook of Cherryvale, Aaron Cook of Cherryvale, Alan Cook of Cherryvale, and many grandchildren.

Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 25, 2021, at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas.

Memorial remembrances are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation, and they may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
