Michael "Mike" Leo Schweda

Michael “Mike” Leo Schweda, 70, lifetime resident of Fredonia, Kansas, passed away, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. Mike was born February 14, 1951 in Fredonia, Kansas, to Leo and Avonelle (Loflin) Schweda.
Mike attended and graduated from Fredonia High School in 1969.

On November 19, 1971, he was united in marriage to Glenda Robinson Schweda in Fredonia, Kansas, she survives at the home.

When Mike was younger, he attended the Catholic Church and school.

Mike worked at ADM for 25 years until its closing. He then worked for Systech from 1996 for many years, until his retirement.

Mike loved sports and worked hard his entire life. He certainly hauled a lot of hay in his lifetime. Mike was a kindhearted guy that never met a stranger and was known for his sharp memory. Mike devoted his spare time lovingly taking care of his in-laws, Alvin and Sarah Jane Robinson.

In addition to his wife, Glenda, Mike is survived by his children; Chad Schweda, Fredonia, Kansas, Shane (Lisa) Schweda, Fredonia, Kansas, Melody (Tyler) Beall, Fall River, Kansas; grandchildren; Colten Schweda, Turner and Molly Beall, siblings; Brenda (Roger) Naylor, Wichita, Kansas, Marli Bauer, Wichita, Kansas, brother in law, Rudy (Jan) Robinson, Fredonia, Kansas, , nephews and nieces; Cary(Dana) Robinson, Randy Robinson, Heidi Robinson (Fred Voth), Ashley and Josh Naylor, Jordan Bauer, and several great nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Avonelle Schweda and in-laws, Alvin and Sarah Jane Robinson.
