Michael John Rau

Michael J. Rau, 27, of Liberty, Kansas passed away early Monday morning, April 15, 2019 at his home.
Michael John Rau was born April 14, 1992 in Coffeyville, Kansas the son of John Rau and Terri (Voris) Rau. He graduated from Labette County High School where he played football and basketball.
He worked at Cobalt Boats in Neodesha and also worked at the Coffeyville Stockyards on Fridays. Mike was a very hard worker. He loved to help his Grandpa Rau at the farm.
Mike was the oldest of all his siblings and he always made sure they were taken care of. He would do anything for them and loved them with all his heart.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything that had to do with the outdoors.
Survivors include his father, John Rau of Liberty, Kansas, mother, Terri Rau of Cherryvale, Kansas, siblings, Matt Rau of Thayer, Kansas, Megan Rau of Liberty, Kansas, Michelle Rau of Liberty, Kansas, grandparents, Leon and Lois Rau and Janie Wells and Robert Voris.
Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Liberty United Methodist Church, Liberty, Kansas.
