Mary Lucille Hendry

Mary Lucille Hendry, 75, a resident of rural Fredonia, Kansas, died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was born July 18, 1932 in Fredonia, the only child of Frank and Cora (McGinnes) Owens. She was a graduate of Fredonia High School. On December 1, 1957 in Fredonia, she married Billy Hendry. He survives at their home. She was a longtime member of the First Christian Church in Fredonia. She also volunteered her time at the Christian Thrift Shop and was a Tupperware dealer. Survivors, in addition to her husband, Billy, include: Three Sons & Daughters-In-Law: Dale & Linda Hendry of Fredonia, KS David & Wanda Hendry of Fredonia, KS Gary & Susan Hendry of Fredonia, KS Two Daughters & Sons-In-Law: Karen & Vernon Nicholson of Urich, MO Dianna & Timmy Culbertson of Mound City, KS 20 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the First Christian Church in Fredonia with Rev. Steve Brodbeck officiating. Burial will be in the Farmington Cemetery, north of Fredonia. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, 2:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M., with the family receiving friends 6:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M.
