Mary Louise Riley

Mary Louise Riley, 82, a longtime resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Brookdale College Square in Overland Park, Kansas. She was born July 29, 1932 in Oswego, Kansas, the daughter of Herbert and Clarinda Sara (Caldwell) Hazley Sr. Mary was a graduate of Chetopa High School. She was a homemaker. On November 13, 1951, Mary was united in marriage to Ernest Christopher Riley. He preceded her in death July 11, 1996. Mary"s hobbies included cooking, music and shopping. Her survivors include: Her daughter and son-in-law: Marcia & Vernon Kelley of Dallas, TX Grandsons: Michael Kelley of Kansas City, MO Matthew Kelley of Dallas, TX Sister: Ruby James of Aurora, CO Great Aunt: Christina Parks of Joliet, IL Her parents, Herbert and Clarinda Hazley Sr; and brother, Herbert Hazley Jr. also preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Timmons Funeral Home with George Triplett officiating. Burial will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, 5:00 P.M.-6:30 P.M. at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in Mary"s name with the Heart of America Alzheimer"s Association and contributions can be sent to or left with Timmons Funeral Home.
