Marilyn Schnedler

Marilyn Louise Schnedler, born on November 4, 1955, in Blue Eye, Missouri, to Willard and Thelma (Strahan) Isaacs, passed away peacefully at Heritage Health Care on January 7, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family, which was always her foremost priority.

 Throughout her life, she held various jobs but remained most passionate about being a devoted homemaker, where she tirelessly cared for her family. Her warm heart and nurturing spirit touched all who knew her. Marilyn cherished reading, engaging in crafts, and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren, creating countless memories that her loved ones will cherish.

 She is survived by her children, Melissa Timmerman of Chanute, KS, Brian Schnedler of Chanute, KS, and Wayne Schnedler of Lee's Summit, MO. Marilyn is also remembered fondly by her beloved grandchildren, Marcus Woodard, Megan Wright, Joshuah Schnedler, Jasmine Schnedler, Noa Schnedler, and Sam Schnedler. Her joy expanded further with the addition of her great-grandchildren, Avery, Alayah, Aria, and Addison, and her siblings Les Isaacs, of Owasso, OK, Linda Knoble of Chanute, KS, Betty Kessler of Chanute, KS, Janice Wilder of Chanute, KS, Amy Slaughter of Pittsburg, KS, Sara Isaacs of Pittsburg, KS, and Cynthia Kellett of Ridgedale, MO. 

 Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert "Sam" Schnedler, her siblings Collene Isaacs and Kathleen Curbow, and her brothers Harold, Gerald, and Garland Isaacs.

 A visitation will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Wickham Family Funeral Home 500 North Forest Ave. Chanute, KS. 

 A Celebration of Life funeral service for Marilyn will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Wickham Family Funeral Home 500 North Forest Ave, Chanute, KS. The service will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, Chanute, KS. 

 Her family and friends will deeply miss Marilyn, but her spirit and memory will continue to live on through the lives she touched.
