Margie M. Ritz

Margie M. Ritz, 83, a lifelong resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Wilson Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas. She was born July 29, 1926 in Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of Lloyd and Marilla (Kranz) Swank. She was a homemaker. Margie was married to Ira Dave Ritz. He preceded her in death May 26, 1994. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Fredonia. Margie"s survivors include: Three sons: Steve Ritz of Fredonia, KS Duane Ritz of Fredonia, KS Robert Ritz of Olathe, KS Ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Gary Dean Ritz and Kenneth Eugene Ritz; and four siblings, John Swank, Archie Swank, Bill Swank and Marvene Wooten. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Timmons Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Raymond of the Verdigris Valley Christian Fellowship officiating. Burial will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery. Friends may call at Timmons Funeral Home on Tuesday morning, 9:00 A.M. until service time.
