Luella Marie Yantzie

Luella Marie Yantzie, 92, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Credo Living in Independence, Kansas.

Luella Marie Yantzie was born June 10, 1931, at Omaha, Nebraska the daughter of Harold Shafer and Verna (Hannum) Shafer. She grew up in Malvern, Iowa and graduated from Malvern High School in 1949.

On September 2, 1950, in Malvern she was united in marriage to Richard L. Yantzie, and he preceded her in death June 25, 2009.

She was a homemaker and member of the Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Diann Myers of Cherryvale, Kansas, Karen Eberhardt of Gilbert, Arizona, Lori Davis of Stringtown, Oklahoma, 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place with family services being held at a later date under the guidance of Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas 67335.
