Lova Ann "Tootie" Busch, 60, a resident of New Albany, Kansas, and formerly of Wichita, Kansas, died Friday, June 12, 2009 at her home, surrounded by family and friends. She was born January 2, 1949 in Dexter, Missouri, the daughter of Carl Richard and Daisy Faye (Mace) Goodman. On January 13, 1967 in Wichita, she married Donald E. Busch. He survives at their home. Lova was a licensed practical nurse for more than 20 years, working most recently at the Wilson County Sheriff"s Department. She attended the Church of God in Fredonia and was an active part of the "bingo-gang" at the Fredonia VFW. In addition to her husband and best friend, Donald, Lova is survived by: Two daughters and sons-in-law: Cyndee A. and Mike Scarborough of Shawnee, OK Loretta C. and Steve Nottingham of New Albany, KS One son: Kenneth W. Busch of New Albany, KS Two brothers: Daniel Theodore Goodman of Missouri Clarence Edward Goodman of New Albany, KS One sister: Linda Darlene Ellenbarger of Arkansas Five grandchildren: Andrew Scarborough Bradley Nottingham Chance Scarborough Chase Scarborough Cheyanne Nottingham Lova was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Donald E. "Skippy" Busch Jr.; and one brother, Carl R. "Dick" Goodman Jr. Lova's faithful companion, Peugeo, has joined her in Heaven where they will forever be together. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Timmons Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dylan Ector of the Evangelists-On-The-Move Ministries, Wichita, officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M. at the Red Bud East Cemetery near Udall, Kansas. Memorials have been established in Lova"s name with Hospice Care of Kansas and Cancer Center of Kansas, and may be sent to the funeral home.
