Loretta J. Bargeman

Loretta J. Bargeman, 72, long time resident of Fredonia, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at her home. Loretta was born July 25, 1948 to Lawrence and Ethel (Douglas) Gueulette in Fredonia, Kansas.

Loretta attended and graduated from Fredonia High School in 1966. She married David Studebaker and they divorced. She later married Bill Bargeman and he preceded her in death.

Loretta worked at Kansas Bank Note for many years and later worked for H&R Block. Loretta was a member of VFW and Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed the VFW Auxiliary where she was a past department of Kansas VFW Auxiliary President.

Loretta is survived by her mother, Ethel Gueulette of Fredonia, Kansas, brother, Benny Wayne Gueulette of Springfield, Missouri, sisters; Linda Parrett of Independence Kansas, Lillia Gueulette of Irving, Texas and Lyla Morris of Iola, Kansas; 2 grandsons, Matthew and Freddie Edwards and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Bill, she was preceded in death by her father, daughters, Barbara Ann Studebaker and Rebecca Lee Studebaker and, grandson, Gregory Fritz.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 10:30 am at Fredonia City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, September 25, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Wickham Family Funeral Home.
