Lloyd Dean Krepps, 83, a resident Olathe, Kansas, a native of the Buffalo, Kansas area, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Olathe Medical Center. He was born May 14, 1927 in Buffalo the son of Lloyd and Eula Doris (Eagle) Krepps. Dean served in the Merchant Marines during the latter part of World War II and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for the Kansas Department of Transportation for 33 years, retiring in 1989. Dean is survived by four nieces and nephews: Vickie Franklin, Gary Scott, Pamela Mahan and Cheryl Kingsford. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Buffalo Cemetery with Rev. Gene Benefiel of the Buxton Christian Church officiating.
