Linda K. Shue, 77, of Fredonia, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Wilson Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas.
Linda K. Shue was born August 16, 1942 at Home Stead Air Force Base, Florida, the daughter of Jack R. Seay and E. Ruth (Hinks) Seay. She graduated from Wichita SE/East Wichita High School in 1960.
On August 19, 1960, she was united in marriage to Gary Lee Shue in Wichita and he preceded her in death January 29, 2014. To this union was born, Sherrill Shue, Brenda Shue and G. Scott Shue.
Linda spent her life assisting and caring for others. While raising three children, she helped to manage Shue Oil Company and helping Larry Marshall with Marshall Auction and Realty. She was extremely active in the First Christian Church in anything from youth programs, to events and serving as Treasurer for many years. Whenever family, friends or the community needed her, Linda was there. After retirement due to long-term illness, she continued her contributions of time and effort to the Christian Thrift Store.
Survivors include her daughters, Sherril Shue and husband Robert Hawk of Rancho Cordova, California and Brenda Shue of Fredonia, Kansas.
In addition to her husband, Gary, Linda was preceded in death by her parents, son, G. Scott Shue, and brother, James Seay.
Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to urge you to contribute to the Christian Thrift Store. Donations may be sent to or left at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 510 N. 7th Fredonia, Kansas 66736.
