LillyAnna Joy Thornton, passed away at the tender age of 10. She was born on January 7, 2014, in Wichita, Kansas, and went to her heavenly home on February 4, 2024, at the Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute, Kansas.
A visitation will be held on February 8, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Thayer Christian Church in Thayer, Kansas. It will be an opportunity for family and friends to pay their respects and cherish the memories they shared with LillyAnna. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place at 1:30 PM at the church.
LillyAnna was preceded in death by her Grandpa Chris Thornton and Great-Grandparents David Thornton, Melvin Parrott, and Patsy Schulz. Although she is no longer physically present with us, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
She is survived by her loving parents Coty and Jessica Thornton. LillyAnna's siblings include Timothy (Mercy) Thornton of Hutchinson, Kansas; Marrissa Thornton of Clayton, North Carolina; Issabella Thornton of Thayer, Kansas; Christoffer Anthony Thornton of Thayer, Kansas; Brandon Parker and Kenadie Marcy of Wichita, Kansas; Kamaria Marcy of Wichita, Kansas; Twin Sister My’Angel Parker of Wichita, Kansas.
In addition to the immediate family members mentioned above, LillyAnna is also survived by her caring grandparents Anthony and Jackie Parrott; Brenda Thornton and Denny Parsons; Shelley McPherson; Bruce and Teresa Murray. She leaves behind a large, loving extended family, including Uncle Nathan and Aunt Becky Tindell and their children Tytus, Ethan, Violet, and Anaiah; Uncle Garrett and Aunt Missy Parson and their children Livvie, Owen, and Gemma; Uncle Terry and Aunt Angie Riemann and their children Parker, Ella, and Avery; Uncle Darren Thornton along with Brett and Liz Edwards and Kru.
Her spirit will continue to inspire us all to treasure each moment we have with our loved ones. As we gather to celebrate her life, let us remember the joy she brought into our world. May we find solace in knowing that LillyAnna's vibrant presence will remain forever etched in our memories.
Memorials in LillyAnna’s name can be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Harrison Cemetery, rural Thayer, Kansas.
Services are under the guidance of Wickham Family Funeral Home 500 North Forest Chanute, Kansas.
