Lewis Ray Hoag, 57, a resident of Fredonia, died Sunday, January 8, 2006, at his home. He was born December 9, 1948 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Lewis Roy and Nadine (Permenter) Hoag. He was a welder for Russell Steel. On February 21, 1993 in Wichita, he married Linda Harlan. She survives at their home. He enjoyed fishing and playing pool in the Tri-Corner Pool League. His survivors include One daughter, Merry BuCannon of Fredonia, KS; Four sons, Robert Weaver of Fredonia, KS; Benjamin Weaver of Wichita, KS; Thomas Wolf of Tipton, MO; James Wolf of Odessa, MO; Three sisters, Marjorie Crease of Augusta, KS; Beatrice Pluimer of Clayton, NC; Tina Gulick of Wichita, KS; Nine grandchildren; Five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Emily Yarbough and three brothers, David Lee Hoag,Edgar Lewis Hoag and Don Wesley Hoag. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 21, 2006, at Timmons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Max Dawson of the Bible Baptist Church officiating. Friends may call at Timmons Funeral Home on Saturday, 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M.
