Leigh Anne "Annie" Eytcheson

Leigh Anne “Annie” (Long) Eytcheson, 58, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Thursday evening at her home with family by her side.
Leigh Anne Eytcheson was born April 28, 1961 in Coffeyville, Kansas the daughter of Albert Long and Nellie (Newton) Long. She grew up in Cherryvale and graduated from Cherryvale High School in 1979. She later attended Independence Community College.
On February 15, 2002 in Laughlin, Nevada she was united in marriage to Teddy Eytcheson and he survives at the home.
Annie worked in sales most of her lifetime at Newton’s True Value in Cherryvale.
Annie cherished her time with her grandkids and she also enjoyed taking care of people, she never met a stranger. She loved going on trips and bowling. She was a member of the Cherryvale United Methodist Church, past president of Cherryvale Main Street and Cherryvale Chamber of Commerce. She was also a member of the Cherryvale Country Club and Job's Daughters.
Survivors include husband Teddy of the home, children, Alexis Hoseman of Cherryvale, Kansas, Hubba Eytcheson of Chanute, Kansas, Patricia Padilla and her husband Frank of Chanute, Kansas, siblings, Joe Long and his wife Barbara of Cherryvale, Kansas, Earlene Waltmire of Cherryvale, Kansas, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Phillip Tobias.
Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Cherryvale United Methodist Church, 305 West 3rd, Cherryvale, Kansas with Pastor Dick Drumeller, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Monday, May 27, 2019 at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas.
Memorial remembrances are suggested to Annie’s Coats for Kids and the may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
