Laura Belle Hall, 76, a long-time resident of the Toronto, Kansas area, died Friday, May 2, 2008 at the Life Care Center of Burlington. She was born January 29, 1932 in Lincoln, Arkansas, the daughter of James and Goldie Mae (Mercer) Haile. She worked as a seamstress for Jostens for 25 years, before retiring in 1998. Her greatest joys in life were her close friends in Toronto, and watchering her children, grandchildren, great grancdhildren and her flowers grow from her love. Laura Belle is survived by: Two Sons: Richard Hall of Humboldt, Kansas Michael Hall of Toronto, Kansas Three Daughters: Sharon A. Hall of Lebo, Kansas Faye Timmons of Fredonia, Kansas Laurel Sherman of Hamilton, Kansas Ten Grandchildren and Nineteen Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Goldie; one brother, Robert Wayne Haile; and an infant son, Jimmy Dean Hall in 1949. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at the Toronto Cemetery with Mike Myers officiating. Friends may call at Timmons Funeral Home on Monday, 2:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. A memorial has been established in her name with the Life Care Center of Burlington "Memorial Garden" and may be sent to the funeral home. Family condolences left on this website.
