Larry Wayne Milner

Larry Wayne Milner, 69, a longtime resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died on Monday, February 21, 2011 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. He was born July 14, 1941 in Fredonia, one of fourteen children to Frank Park and Elsie Pearl (Morgan) Milner. Larry served in the United States Navy. Larry worked various jobs including Excelsior Brick Plant in Fredonia, Petro Truck Stop in Laramie, Wyoming, M&D Enterprises near Parsons, Kansas, and Wal-Mart in Chanute, Kansas. He was a member of the Eagles in Fredonia and enjoyed hunting, fishing and being around young children, handing out stuffed animals and candy. Larry is survived by: Four brothers: John Milner of Commerce City, CO Bill Milner of Fredonia, KS Jit Milner of Rose Hill, KS David Milner of Erie, KS Three sisters: Dema Lipitz of Pueblo, CO Gerry Gulick of Neodesha, KS Linda McGuire of Stockton, MO Many nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Agnes Hudsepth and Leona Jean Hall; and four brothers, Carl, Frank, Donald and Melvin. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Timmons Chapel with Rev. Dave Cheshier officiating. Private family burial will be held in the Fredonia City Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Larry"s name with the Golden Living Center Activity Fund and contributions can be sent to the funeral home.
