Larry Harold McNickle, 81, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Coffeyville, Kansas. 

He was born on June 14, 1943, in Aline, Oklahoma, to proud parents Wayne and Burnes (Parker) McNickle.

Larry graduated from Labette County High School in 1960, marking the beginning of a lifetime of hard work and achievements.

On September 2, 1961, in Cherryvale, Kansas he was united in marriage to Jane Brothers and she preceded in death. He was later united in marriage to Barbara Green June 29, 1985, in Cherryvale, Kansas and she survives at the home.

Throughout his life, Larry dedicated himself to various pursuits. He worked as a Machinist for Magic Circle for over 40 years, showcasing his expertise and dedication to his craft.

Larry was known for his passion for ranching, skills he honed over the years.

He was member of the New Hope Christian Church in Cherryvale.

Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; daughter Paula (Mike) Bayack of Derby, Kansas; stepsons, Terry (Carolyn) Green of Cherryvale, Kansas and Mark (Linda) Green of St. Paul, Kansas; brothers, Earnest (Karen) McNickle of Arlington, Texas, Kenneth (Connie) McNickle of Cherryvale, Kansas, and Keith McNickle of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Burnes, first wife, Jane Louise McNickle, son Scott Allen McNickle, and brother Ronald McNickle.

Private family graveside services will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale.

Memorial remembrances are suggested to the New Hope Christian Church or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and they may be left or mailed to Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas 67335.

Larry touched the lives of many with his hard work, kindness, and dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who have the privilege of knowing him.
