Kenneth L. Koger, 90, a resident of Regal Estates in Independence, Kansas, and a former resident of rural Neodesha, Kansas, died Wednesday, August 22, 2007 in Independence. He was born December 8, 1916, near Neodesha, the son of Wesley and Della (Foglesong) Koger. He was a graduate of Lafontaine High School and was retired from the Wilson County Road Crew. He was a longtime member of the Neodesha Bible Baptist Church and the Metal Detecting Club. Most recently he was serving as the newly-elected president of the Regal Residents Council at Regal Estates. Mr. Koger has no immediate survivors. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Amanda Attebery and Betty Koger. Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M. on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Timmons Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeremiah Baird of the Bible Baptist Church in Fredonia officiating. Burial will be in the Koger/Cheatham Cemetery, south of Fredonia. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, 3:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. and on Saturday, 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. A memorial has been established in his name with the Fredonia Bible Baptist Church Children"s Ministry and may be sent to the funeral home.
