Kenneth L. Corle, 69, of Coffeyville, Kansas formerly of Cherryvale, Kansas died Wednesday, May 13, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Kenneth Leon Corle was born February 19, 1951 in Caney, Kansas the son of Kenneth Leslie Corle and Velma Fern (Simpson) Corle. He graduated from Fort Scott High School in 1970 and attended Dodge City Community College.
He was united in marriage to Sue Dodson and they were later divorced. He later married Carol Ann Mountford June 12, 1982 in Wichita, Kansas and she survives at the home.
Kenneth worked as a truck driver, police officer, security guard, Juvenile Delinquent officer and helped manage the Big Hill Lodge in Cherryvale. He also was the district circulation manager for the Independence Reporter and the Wichita Eagle. He later took on the adventure of owning Three Weiner Dogs Bait and Tackle in Cherryvale for many years.
He enjoyed fishing and camping.
Kenneth was a member of the New Hope Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife Carol of the home and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Cremation has taken place with memorial services being held 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 12, 2020 at New Hope Christian Church in Cherryvale.
