Keith Karl Kriesel, 74, a resident of Fall River, Kansas, died Monday, February 20, 2006, at Fredonia Regional Hospital. He was born April 24, 1931 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Arthur and Emma (Schweer) Kriesel. He was a graduate of Lane High School. He worked as a custodian at Sharon High School in Sharon, Kansas for more than 20 years. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. On December 23, 1979 in Fredonia, he married Doris Vaughn. She survives at their home. Survivors in addition to his wife Doris include: One son, Keith Kalen Kriesel of Eureka, KS; Two daughters, Kathy Hall of Paola, KS; Kristi Thomas of Osage City, KS; Five step-sons, Lee Peters of Athens, TX; Billy Dunsworth of Spanoway, WA; Paul Dunsworth of Phoenix, AZ; Ricky Dunsworth of Fall River, KS; James Dunsworth of Fredonia, KS; One step-daughter, Sandra Briscoe of Fall River, KS; Three sisters, Dorothy Bartels of Raytown, MO; Lois Hay of Greeley, KS; Leona McCauley of Royal Palm Beach, FL; Twenty-two grandchildren and Three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice May Kriesel and Clara Tyler; and one grandson, Richard Lee Hall. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, February 24, 2006, at Timmons Chapel with Pastor John Ashcraft of the Grace Lutheran Church in Osage City officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, near Fall River. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. A memorial has been established in his name with the Parkinsons Disease Foundation and may be sent to the funeral home.
