Judith "Judy" L. Bray

Judith “Judy” Lissetta (Ross) Bray, of Cherryvale, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Gran Villas in Independence, Kansas.
She was born December 16, 1942, to Harley and Margaret Ross. Wife of Herman Cyrus Bray, who has proceeded her in death.
Judy graduated from the Independence High School and attended the Independence Community College. She earned many awards for helping in the community including an award from the KOAM Channel 7 News. Judy was a rural firefighter for Cherryvale for several years. Judy was also an active member at the Lutheran Church.
Judy is one of many children, having 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Margaret Ross, her husband; Herman Cyrus Bray, daughter; Margaret Henson, siblings; Harley Earl Jr, Jessie Wood, Margaret Laforest, Elsie Ross, Orah Christenson
She is survived by her siblings; Emma Laforte, George Ross, twin brothers, Floyd and Lloyd Ross, her children; Dana Peugh of Cherryvale, Kansas, Tony Bray of Cherryvale, Kansas, Teresa Davison of Independence, Kansas, Herman Cyrus Bray Jr of Stillwell, Oklahoma, Judy was a proud Grandmother and has 29 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Joshua Allen Denton Perry who passed November 2017, Diamond Ray Marchem, Augustus, and Apollo of Arizona.
Celebration of Life services will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Wickham Family Funeral Home of Cherryvale.
