Joshua David McIntierJoshua D. McIntier, 28, of Fayetteville, Arkansas and formerly of Chanute and Thayer, Kansas passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.Joshua David McIntier was born July 15, 1988 in Fort Scott, Kansas the son of Jim McIntier and Tammy Murrow. He grew up and attended schools in Chanute and Thayer.He enlisted with the Kansas Army National Guard and was later honorably discharged.Joshua was helpful and giving and looked out for his family especially his sisters. He loved playing and watching sports with football and baseball being his favorites.He lived in Chanute, Pittsburg and most recently he moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas and worked as a welder at Chandler Equipment.Survivors include his parents, Tony and Tammy Vining of Thayer, Kansas, daughter, Lylee McIntier of Galveston, Texas, girlfriend, Donna Hutchens and her son, Logan Hutchens of Fayetteville, Arkansas, sisters, Courtney Wright of Chanute, Kansas, Kassie Vining of Thayer, Kansas, step brother, AJ Vining of Chanute, Kansas, maternal grandmother, Mavis McCluey of Iola, Kansas, maternal grandfather, David Murrow of Freeman, Missouri.He was preceded in death by his father, Jim McIntier.Celebration of Life Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Thayer Christian Church.The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th Street, Cherryvale, Kansas.Interment will immediately follow services in Thayer City Cemetery.
