John B. Sanchez, Jr.

John B. Sanchez, Jr., 38, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas, formerly of Erie and Oswego, died Friday, November 2, 2007 in Fredonia. He was born February 13, 1969 in Cortez, Colorado, the son of John and Olivia (Marcus) Sanchez, Sr. He served in the United States Army. He was the owner and construction foreman for J & S Construction. He also was a certified instructor for the Kansas Wildlife and Parks Safety Hunter Course. John was married to Rhonda Mathews. They later divorced. He then married Angele Sanchez and she survives. His hobbies included mud runnng and being an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Sanchez is also survived by: His parents: John Sanchez Sr. of Lyndon, WA Olivia Church of Nevada One daughter: Alicia Sanchez of St. Paul, KS Three sons: Tommy Sanchez of Fredonia, KS Richard Sanchez of Cherokee, KS James Sanchez of Cherokee, KS One step-daughter: Elizabeth Hale of Osceola, MO Two sisters: Olivia Sanchez of Nevada Michelle Sanchez of Colorado One grandson and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother; and one daughter, Felicia Sanchez. Private family services will be held at a later date.
