Jill A. Colwell

Jill A. Colwell, 51, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at her home in Joplin, Missouri.
Jill Ann Colwell was born December 8, 1970, in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Leonard Keeling and Patricia (Howell) Keeling.
After graduating at Cherryvale High School, Jill obtained her BSN from Pittsburg State University and worked as a nurse for several years.
She loved being outdoors, going hiking and sitting around a bonfire, cooking, and animals. Jill was proud to help veterans. She also enjoyed music and being with family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Craig Colwell of College Station, Texas, her siblings, Jeff Griffin of Corpus Christi, Texas, Janna Goins and her husband Scott Goins of Cherryvale, Kansas, Joshua Keeling and his wife Jelinda Keeling, her nieces and nephews, Sarah and Bret Kelley of Independence, Kansas, Grant Goins and Kelsey Kendall of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Morgan Goins of Cherryvale, Kansas, Great nephews, Maddux and Mayes Kelley, Gentry Trout.
She was preceded in death by her parents Patricia and Leonard Keeling.
Cremation has taken place with services to be held at a later date under the guidance of Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas 67335.
Memorial remembrances are suggested to AWOL Humane Society or VFW. They may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
