JERRY DON "J.D." HOLTJerry D. "J.D." Holt, 60, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Monday, February, 29, 2016 at his home with his family by his side.Jerry Don Holt was born May 20, 1955 in Marmaduke, Arkansas the son of Fant Arb Holt and Ollie (Golden) Holt. He grew up in Marmaduke and attended schools there.On August 14, 1976 in Independence, Kansas he was united in marriage to Della Winkleman and they were later divorced.Jerry worked for Kenco as a fence builder for many years. He later worked for Tony Holt Well Service until ill health required him to retire.Jerry enjoyed fishing, camping and watching boat races. He will be remembered for the love of his family and friends.Survivors include his children, Jimmy Holt of Cherryvale, Kansas, Lisa Holt of Independence, Kansas, Josh Holt of Cherryvale, Kansas, Robbie Shirley of Independence, Kansas, brothers and sisters, Betty Janes of Paragould, Arkansas, Dorothy Eckles of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Gary Holt of Marmaduke, Arkansas, JoAnn Easton of Rogers, Arkansas, Tony Holt of Independence, Kansas, Diane Keen of Lafe, Arkansas, Keith Holt of Independence, Kansas, grandchildren, Casey Holt, Aubri Holt, Jaden Emert, Jacob Holt, Emma Holt, Hunter Emert, great grandchild, Avianna Holt.He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother James Holt.Celebration of Life Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M.
