Jean Harding

Jean W. Harding, 84, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at Beverly Health & Rehab in Fredonia. She was born October 31, 1921 in Harthorn, Missouri, the daughter of Edward and Hazel (Cale) White. She was a graduate of Fredonia High School. On December 20, 1941 in Fredonia, she married Robert Eugene Harding. He preceded her in death September 22, 1984. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Southwest Extension Unit and Neighborhood Fun Club. Her Survivors include:One daughter & son-in-law, Judy and Tom Kneebone of Harrisonville, MO; Five sons & daughters-in-law, J.R. & Carol Harding of Great Bend, KS; Jerry & Toni Harding of Helotes, TX; Jack & Lynn Harding of LaMirada, CA; Robert E. & Cheryl Harding of Fredonia, KS; Joe & Lupe Harding of Conyers, GA; One sister, Irene Ernzen of Cedar Vale, KS; Two brothers, Clyde White of Missouri; Archie White of Kentucky; 19 Grandchildren & 9 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M. on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at the Timmons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Benefiel of the Buxton Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, 1:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. A memorial has been established in her name with the American Heart Association and may be sent to the funeral home.
