Jason Michael Bakken

Jason M. Bakken, 39, of Mound Valley, Kansas passed away October 3, 2022, at his residence.

Jason Michael Bakken was born, April 17, 1983, in Independence, Kansas the son of Leroy Bakken and Linda (Hunsucker) Bakken. He grew up in Independence and attended Independence schools.

Jason enjoyed fishing, woodworking and gardening especially planting hot peppers. When he was younger, he was active in Boy Scouts and 4-H.

He worked for several companies throughout his young career: Charloma, Amazon, Spears Manufacturing, Cobalt, The Flesh Company, Ducommun, and Apex Home Technology.

Survivors include his parents, Leroy and Linda Bakken of Cherryvale, Kansas, sister, Kendra Furr of Cherryvale, Kansas and nephews and niece.

Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th Street, Cherryvale, Kansas 67335.

Inurnment will follow the services at Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale.
